It gives me immense pleasure and honor to present before you the 8th edition of IBA, Kuwait Basketball Tournament after a long break of almost 4 years due to the Covid maelstrom which engulfed the whole world. IBA is gearing back with its Mega Basketball journey once again for the student community and for the open category men & women sections as well. I feel elated to share a few thoughts about IBA and the swift progress it has been making all through these years, providing a perfect platform for showcasing the game of basketball here in Kuwait.

IBA started its humble beginnings 7 years ago with the motive of nurturing the passion for basketball and establishing a perfect edifice for seeding the right seeds of the game into the younger generation. At IBA, we – a group of former players/athletes who breathe basketball – believe and confident in grooming out the children to a complete athlete in every sense and we are proud that we have walked a long way with our team’s relentless dedication combined with a fairness in our approach. Basketball game gives confidence, discipline, respect, mental & physical strength – everything that one needed to become an elite and perfect athlete. At IBA, our vision is to prepare the students strong and ready to take on the challenges of the world.

IBA, Kuwait is also happy and proud in providing platform for the senior players to connect each other, perform their skills in front of their friends, relatives and the general public reminiscing their old time.

We believe this game has the power to unite and change the world for a better tomorrow.
